alot of idea's

i posted a topic about mechanical blocks and after that i got thinking about more cool things. and here they are all sorted:

chat idea’s

chat with people in a radius instead of global chat, and have a option to chat trough some kind of radio to other people with a greater distance or a other world(of course a radio that go trough worlds are more expensive)

have the ability to shout and whisper. shout will increase the range and whisper decrease the range

at low health you can talk in a shorter distance so if you get attacked you can’t shout for help adding a element of stealth

combat ideas

blocking: blocking will not decrease damage, but can be used to block weak or normal attacks completely. also you can try to counter attack doing a bit of damage and have a chance of stunning your opponent. blocking will take timing and counter attacks will be even harder.

stealth: you can walk more slow to decrease sound, disable your nametag so people can’t see you so easy and hold people so they can’t talk

item ideas

draw-able paper: if you craft a paper you will need ink and a feather(or whatever you want to write with) and start writing on your paper. also dyes can be used to get different colors. this way you can draw letters, nice pictures or maps(this was my main idea). they can be hanged up walls and even draw on them if it is on a wall.

poison: you can make poison using a poisonous animal or mushroom. poison can be put on a dagger or arrow, so you can fight with poison. you can put pure poison in a bottle or mix it with drink or food. this way you can poison someones food supply killing him and you have his item’s

block idea’s

one way glass: you can see others but they can’t see you >:)

camo-doors: for hidden parts of your base

locked doors: doors you can lock with a unique key. keys can be copied so you can give your friends the key, or enemies can steal the key, copy it and put the original back.

rails: rails will give you a fast way to transport. this will work with real life physics, down will increase your speed, up slow you down, horizontally slows you down a little bit, if you go to fast up and the rail will stop or go down you will jump and going to fast in turns will derail you. if you need to go up you can use my mechanical blocks suggestion to make it go up without needing speed

other ideas

boats: not just a little boat you can craft, you can craft bigger ships so multiple people can get on. also you can put blocks that do things on it. like a furnace. to do this you need blocks like floaters and a sail. maybe a engine using steam(see my technical blocks post). but maybe that will get the game out of his theme.

hang gliders: i don’t think much explanation is needed :p
