this is about blocks extending your creativity. some of them will may effect performance but are in my opinion really cool
chiseled blocks: you can chisel little cubes out of stone. they will beak if you do that. also you can break a chiseled piece of stone using a chisel so you can place it somewhere else
saw/sawed wood: using saw you can cut a piece of wood in 2 parts destroying a plate of little blocks. a bit like the chiseled blocks but with wood
banner: if you craft a banner you can draw on it using ink and a feather(or something else). and dyes can be used to get more colors. certain colors will be less or not available in certain worlds. also i suggest making it not able to copy or make it able to copy but costing time and more ink than normal.
