beacons?

They have talked about a Pioneer tier and up benefit that makes your beacons with unique models + 50% range… so I imagine they will be a objects and visible when placed. Sure when you interact with it you can change the rules of that portion of your lands, like PvP allowed or not, who can enter and/or edit things inside your “land” and so.

Maybe to prevent others obstruct your way out no player beacons would be placable in a minimum distance… but keep in mind that outside your beacon you can still break/grief other blocks.

FWIW I hope the beacon is a virtual item rather than physical. Having to change my whole house/building around to accomodate a physical item in the center is not much fun – Starforge does this.

I’d rather see a system like Landmark where you place a virtual flag and your claim exists around it. This also has the advantage of being able to set the claim height too – you can have claims above/below each other.
