I was wondering about the structure of the game at the moment, as I don’t have early access.

Is it one huge world everyone shares, or connected worlds that people can blip in and out of?

And how many people can be in the same world at the same time?

      Thanks

At the moment, it’s a handful of connected worlds that people can pop in and out of. I don’t know what the population cap is, but I’ve heard 100+ per world online at a time. I believe that is performance related, and more powerful servers would be able to run more players online at once.

Best way to think about it as a single universe that everyone plays within. This universe is accessed by jumping between all the different worlds. (These worlds happen to run on individual servers.) It is definitely a single MMO.

So it is one huge world that everyone shares *and* a connected world that people can blip in and out of.

We’ve distributed the servers around our playing community – so that all players can have a decent experience. However, you can connect to any server – and surprisingly the performance is decent.
