I’ve been having random crashes with the native version. Like with my previously reported bug, the client just closes without an error message.
So far I haven’t been able to determine a particular pattern to the crashes.
Computer specs:
i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz
16GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 560 Ti with the latest driver (344.60)
Windows 8.1 Pro x64 -

How did you get the Steam client? Am I going to receive a key before Early Access release?

It was given out to a few people who sent an email in response to a tweet so that limited testing could be done. I couldn’t say if you’ll get a key before early access.

Oh, thank you for the answer. I hope they fix the crashes. 🙂

I sent out an e-mail and got a key on the same day itself so yeah.

Just reporting that I’ve had a couple of these with the version released today. Both of these happened on Hell while wandering around near the portal to Test. I had been through the portal a couple of times.

Moving this to Support now that the game is live on Steam.

Thanks – as in the other thread – we’ll enable some debugging and help track it down.
As the app is just vanishing – it’s probably a memory issue or null pointer in there some where. Joy 😉

The game generates debugging logs in:
Mac OS X at /tmp/tblz_log.txt
Windows at c:\temp\tblz_log.txt(Assuming the folders exist.)
Can you send a log after the game crashes?

The game just crashed in the above manner but there is no debug text file in that (or any other) folder.

Does the folder c:\temp exist? I think it only writes the file if the folder is already there – can you check?

It does indeed exist. I’ve just created the tblz_log.txt file manually and will see if that makes a difference.
Thanks for trying to get to the root of the issue.

Just had another crash and it didn’t save anything to the file.

The error log generated today. I’ve emailed it to the address given in the sticky.

I have the same problem… It seems like a memory issue indeed. No debug logs generated yet tho ):

There a new steam client update with release 89 that has some fixes in. Let us know if that fixes your issue.
thanks.
