      I wanted to see if you can place planks in lava (you can) and when I took them back out again, it just left a hole –

      It looks kind of cool in a way.

      Will lava destroy all types self placed bricks?

      Better yet, add some sort of “isFlammable” property to each block type, allowing some types of blocks (stone, etc) to be used as building materials around pools of lava, while others (wood, leaves) would burn up.
