      I’ve been playing Oort since a little while before the Steam launch. Today, I had a bug pop up that I haven’t been able to fix.

      What happens is, when I boot up the game and jump on a server, whatever I have in hot bar slot 9 is selected by default. When I try to change to another item on my hot bar using either my mouse wheel or my number keys, it changes momentarily but then within a second it automatically swaps back to the hot bar slot 9.

      I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but it still has the same problem.

      OS: Win7 Home Premium SP1
      CPU: Intel Core [email protected]
      System RAM: 8gb
      GPU: AMD Radeon HD7970 3gb
      Locale: Australia, Perth
      Purchased: On oortonline. Playing via Steam.

      That could happen if you have very high ping. In the Worlds menu what ping time does it say?
      Have you tried swapping it out with the main inventory (E)?
      Can you place/remove blocks?

      It must have been ping related. I’m on the same server today and there are no issues.
