I tried the World Builder, it worked fine until i wanted to render a noise in 3D.
2D seems to work fine, it renders and i see the colors of heights. When I finish this render (2D) and klick on the 3D box it wont start rendering the noise.
I tried building some basic stuff and rendering the ‘final World’ in ‘Generator’, also this function won’t create anything. its loading percentage (%) will change and reach 100%, but there wont be a result.I would love to test a world sample for the World Builder to test it. Even if it’s just a simple basic file wich works on another persons World Builder and renders the 3D function, just to check I am trying it right…
Greetings and a lot of thanks,

As far as I was aware we did ship a few worlds with the editor, someone else will have to confirm if/where they are stored.
If you could link to your config file we can check it out and see if there’s something wrong with it or not. One feature lacking in the editor is error dialogs when the configs ‘are’ incorrect.

I found two worlds in the map C:\steam\steamapps\common\Oort Online\mave\worlds.
Both won’t produce a 3D map. What is exactly mentioned with ‘config file’? Wich file specific file do i have to send? Sorry, not very experienced with programming and stuff…
I can show the errors wich come up in the ‘Editor.exe’ log while trying to produce a 3D area.

Oh and please, put the wood logs in every world in the standard block list. Like you receive 50 dirt / 50 grass / 50 stone bricks / 50 stone / 50 gravel-like when you start. I would love to have 50 wooden blocks too! Since cutting trees down it takes a horrible long time to remove al the leaves since they dont disappear on their own when the wood has been cut. Having everywhere floating baloons of leaves is a bit annoying hihi

Oh okay, that’s interesting then. Nothing to do with the world configs, the shaders for the 3d rendering are failing to compile on your computer. Could you send a full log of those errors printed please along with gpu/os information?

Sorry for the late answer, thought I was subscribed to this topic! I couldnt make a dump file for the editor.exe. Also i do not have any clue how i can copy the errors in the running ‘editor’ prompt file to an .txt file or something else easy readable/editable.
It is always the same kind of error.
