Was wondering – if at all possible – there’s a chance of exposing an API to us developers out there who may wish to display player location on our websites, etc, etc. I think player stats would be an interesting aspect if we were able to connect to the API and retrieve our own personal player information or world information.
Great then we think the same way^^ But I’d really like to see my stats online without logging into the game. Assumed they implement something like stats^^
All information about your character – your gear, actual place, stats, guild, your chests – Inform your enemies, best way to die. It’s OK with FPS like battlefield but survival game – nonsence.
If it was Call of Duty, Battlefield, PlanetSide2, Mario it’s OK. Survival… bad idea.
I was referring to the eve online style of API more so than “battlefield” style statistics… there’s plenty of useful things that could come from exposing said game data be it mapping tools for planning building structures in your own world or anything else like that.
And what about your level and stats? Your achievements? Sure you can tell somebody and I’d really like not have the level presented beside the name or in a drop down menu but I’d also like to know the stats of others or at least my own without logging into the game.
