During my tests, world generator use more than 30go of ram/swap when I generate a square of 64*64 trunks with “final world preview”. It’s max we can generate with it at this time.
When I generate a quare of 32*32 trunk (standard size) generator don’t swap. I has 8go of ram on my PC.
My processor is an i5 4 core at 3ghz. World generator use it at 100%.I don’t know if it uses graphic card.

Thanks for informing! Only my processor is slower compared to yours, however it feels like the World Builder should run fine, even with my processor. I use the boosting software of (i thought) windows for a better speed. My processor can reach 2,8GHZ – 3GHZ (software says 3,2GHZ, but that is probaply over-rated).
Now its the graphic card… I think I need a better graphic card to run Oort Online properly (or at least with minimum quility).
Again thanks for your respons!

If your overclocking to 2.3GHz+ then I would expect that to be ok.
Looking up Device ID 0A16 on the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_graphics_processing_units shows its the Intel HD Graphics 4600. While feature wise that should run it may not be quick. We also currently hit a slow path for Intel GPUs due to issue with their OpenGL drivers so it will run slower (on the cpu) than a non Intel graphics card.
