Being color blind, I’m sure I am not the only one, it’s often difficult to build in many light conditions; as there is no “color blind mode” and it’s common to miss a block placement or completely unable to see what you’re doing. So I thought of an idea for Infrared Vision; When active it halts the current day/night lighting conditions.
Build-Mode, like Infrared Vision, it highlights all of the blocks in your field of vision (a red color for example) based on which ever block you currently have selected. For example if you have a Stone Block selected in your tray, all stone blocks you see will be highlighted/outlined; the benefit to this would allow you to see gaps, missed blocks, or allow you to count easier/faster without having to recount over and over.
While in build-mode, if you’ve got your “game state information” (not sure what else to call it, where it displays map/player/build information) a number appears at your center of sight counting how many tiles/blocks away is the object you’re looking at/can be selected/built. Ie; Looking at a stone block 7 tiles away, the number 7 would appear at my center of sight.
