manmade one block holes

I’m getting tired of manmade one block holes. I keep falling down them all the time. So far the only way i’ve found to get back out is trying to kill myself jumping down inside the caves or if i’m lucky staying submerged in an underground lake.

Is there an easier way to respawn or get back out?

Hit “I” for unlimited blocks, then pillar out. Look down, jump and rapidly place blocks till you are free.

jepp, it’s easy to come out … but the holes are anoying anyway -.-
