Four Steam account keys, weapon, wearable, founder’s world access, and Mega Beacon 50% range.
1) Is the “Mega Beacon” simply a normal beacon, with +50% range, or is it a different type of beacon than everyone else can normally craft, and going Pioneer gives you an extra 50% to its range?
2) The game webpage says you can “craft some number of beacons” to secure your land. As a Pioneer, does that mean all of your beacons you craft are Mega Beacons, or do you get just 1?
3) Are all of the rewards applied to all 4 steam account keys?

I can answer some of these questions!
1)Mega Beacons have not been added to the game yet, but my understanding is that they will simply be a standard beacon with +50% range.
2)The range bonus should apply to ALL of your beacons. This is not yet confirmed, but there has been no discussion or suggestion of multiple tiers of beacons.
3)If they stick with the model for when I personally bought my package, no. Only the instant access keys (2x) will have full benefits. The additional steam keys are yours to give away once the full version hits steam. They are basic access.
A dev may pop his head in here and amend what I have said, as the packages have changed somewhat since originally introduced. They may decide to set ALL keys you buy to have the same perks, but I doubt it.

To be honest, I would expect that only your key would have the rewards. However, they might do it differently than other games.
I’m just happy with backing the game 🙂 Deserves more imho.
If only the Starforge developers had been like these guys 🙁- This reply was modified 9 years, 11 months ago by Sorrow.

robg_in_pa here under new forum ID….
Getting the perks for all 4 steam accounts was the key to whether I’d get Pioneer or 4 X Explorer tiers. The website was definitely vague. It did clearly indicate that the instant access accounts (x2) would get the rewards, but didn’t say about the steam launch keys.
So I asked the @oortonline persona, who are incredibly helpful. I asked:
“at Pioneer, do all 4 of the steam keys get all of those rewards? Weapon, wearable, mega beacon, and founders?”
And they replied “Yes”.

I’ve gotten some clarification. It would appear Havok is correct and the twitter info was incorrect. The two instant access accounts get the perks and continue on after game launch, then you get two additional steam keys for normal accounts.
I’m a tad disappointed, but not mad at @oortonline…they’ve been beyond super helpful already.

Hey, at least the second key also gets the goodies 🙂 That’s more than I would have expected.

To confirm:
Only Instant Access (Early Access) keys get the perks.
(It was originally only the buyer as @sorrow suggested – but we increased it based on backer feedback. Specifically parents buying for their kids – and wanting them to have the same perks. We thought this was fair and upgraded everyone.)
@havok40k has everything correct at the moment.
The range bonus *does* apply to all your beacons. This is specified in the tooltip – which no one ever notices.
We’re always open to feedback… so shout if you think something is wonky.

I responded to the wonderful person helping me via email with some suggestions to make it a little less ambiguous on the perks page.
I didn’t notice the tooltips at all until I was actually purchasing it (too late by then), but I realize now the main reason was I was always looking at it on my phone. I’ve checked since then and I know that if I *tap* on the perk, it will show the tooltips, but that wasn’t something I thought to do since it doesn’t look tappable.
