Hi! I have not (yet) purchased the game, since i can’t find answers to some of my questions. Oort Online Wiki is kinda unfinished and i can’t find many good lets play videos from youtube, but I understand it since the game is apparently in pre-alpha. If someone can find perfect FAQ (or video?) for my questions, just paste it here. I couldn’t find one.

      1. Is the water mechanics working the same way as in the minecraft? Or is it more realistic, for example if you connect a small lake to deep cave, will the water drain to the cave, leaving lake empty? Is there rivers? Waterfalls? Never gonna be?
      2. Are the worlds infinite? How high can i build or how deep can i dig?
      3. As what I found out, you can conquer some space so no one else can destroy anything you build in it. How big this space is? Is it possible to make it bigger alone?
      4. Where are the servers located? Wondering what my PING is going to be..
      5. Apparently some sort of portals are going to link official servers together, and you can build own portals later? If I create my own (unofficial) server one day, can i connect it to official servers by building a portal?
      6. Why I need WebGL enabled browser? Am I going to play this game trough my browser?

Someone gonna say just buy the game. Im not going to buy the game just yet. I first want to know what I’m going to pay for.

      1. Water Mechanics are similar to that of Minecraft, yet slightly different. Definitely not realistic.
      2. The worlds are not infinite from my understanding, but are very big.
      3. This is through the use of Beacons, they are currently not player placed, but rather requested (if it’s part of your package). I’m unsure exactly how large they are, but they can be bigger depending on the beacon (150%, 200%, etc)
      4. The servers currely display their location ie East US, East Europe, etc.
      5. Currently, the way to travel from world to world is through the server list, however, there are some servers that have portals to show players how they will work. Portal will be player placed in the future, and allow for seamless entry to other server.
      6. You shouldn’t by rights need anything that isn’t included in the steam download, unless I’m missing something here, I’m not to educated on the technical aspects of this title.
