      I wish I could post concept drawings but I see this idea like this.

      You have just started and are trying to hunt a rabbit-like creature. You see it a little bit ahead and just infront of you, there is a small shrub, but big enough that you can jump into to hide. You press (action key) to interact with the tree and dive into it. (moving camera angle rattles tree) And you sit and wait for the bunny to jump close to the tree before you pounce out at. You could even have items like animal bait. (carrot-like food for rabbit-like creature.) This could also lead into the upgrading of skill levels in certain aspects of the game.

      This would just add an awesome dynamic kind of in-the-game feel. Instead of just running in, killing it instantly then leaving.

      You could also do something that requires you to have a certain amount of skill points of each skills (dependant on race) before you can actually upgrade to the next level and upgrade the next tier of weapons/armour.
