Starter kit in Pre-Alpha/Alpha Items.

So I am looking at all the items we start with. There is one item, it appears to look like materials to craft, I can’t seem to find any help on what it is. Please help.

I think those are the pebbles for your slingshot. A trick to see what item you’re holding is to pick up the item with your cursor, press ‘.’ twice and look at the text that pops up in the top left of your screen. Not sure what line the text is on, but just reading through it will answer that.
Crafting has not been added to the game yet…The devs will be rolling out the next features(Combat 1 and Crafting 1) pretty soon.

Also…
Pressing ‘i’ gives you unlimited blocks.
Placing a sand, dirt, gravel, ice or bouncy block in slots 2-6 allow you to slope these blocks. The key to enable/disable sloping is ‘r’.

New Question. What are Apples used for, and how do I eat them?

Nothing yet, and you cant. I think they are only a test drop item at the moment.
