I have a login issue. I bought a Steam gift of OO for my four year old and when he logs into OO it’s my OO account.
My wife and I got the Pioneer package (for us and two daughters). I logged into Oort Online through my Steam client (my Steam profile http://steamcommunity.com/id/ptay) and setup a Oort Online account (User ID: MajorWitty). My wife setup her account without issues.
The youngest child, Gabriel, wanted to try OO so I let him play my Oort Online using my SteamID on Gabriel’s computer. I logged into Steam client on Gabriel’s computer and Gabriel played as my OO account for few hours. The two younger boys now want a copy of OO. That was about 3+ weeks ago.
Today, I bought two gift Steam Oort Online accounts for both Zachary (6 year old) and Gabriel (4 year old) through my Steam account. I redeemed both gifts through their Steam accounts while on their computers (everyone has their own PC in this house).
I installed Oort Online client on Zachary’s computer then launched game, created OO account (zachary2008). Zachary is now running around as zachary2008 in OO. This is normal.
I installed OO client on Gabriel’s computer then launched game. Gabriel went directly into OO as majorwitty (my OO account!). The game never prompted me to create an account.
How do I disassociate Gabriel’s Steam client with my OO majorwitty account so I can create Gabriel’s OO account?
I haven’t launched my Steam OO game client yet to see what happens as both boys are playing right now and I don’t want to knock one off until this gets fixed. I’m left handed so I am not playing until the key mapping is added but I would like to get Gabriel his own OO account with his Steam account.
Thanks

Hey! The game is attempting to be helpful by automatically signing you into Oort Online via your Steam credentials which are linked to your Oort Online account. (We do this to stop people stealing the game.)
As this situation is a little complicated I think it is probably easier to respond via your email thread about the forum title. So we’ll get this resolved via email!
If anyone else has this sort of issue – please email us and we’ll get it resolved.

My four year old came running into the room and said Oort Online was broken. The game was asking to create an account. I created Gabriel an account (gabriel2010) and now the boys are having lots of fun swinging around Oort worlds.
All our accounts work and forum title fixed. Thank you much!
