      I hope this is okay! I have my own server. It’s 25 slots and right now is being used by me to record videos for my YouTube.

      Anyone is open to use it. I can make channels for Oort Online as well.

      Is this a teamspeak server?
      Maybe talking isn’t as appealing to non nativ english speaking players as it is for the native speaking ones. Maybe if you would add different channels for different languages it would be great. (or is everyone but me on there? xD)

      Yes, this is Teamspeak. If enough are using it I will gladly add channels so players can feel comfortable talking to those of their native tongue. 🙂

      I’d like to toss out I did not have intentions to steal the person above’s thread. I just recently got this TeamSpeak and would love for it to be used. So it’s there and on need to buy another if you wanted to save money.

      Oh, no problem… What i was envisioning was a 200+ server. There are over 700 something last I checked of us. I know not all are wayfarer or higher, but eventually… Also, I know there are only like 30 at a time on for the most part, but like I said, future proof. We would really only need a group of us (20-30?) to throw like $5 in and we would have a few months worth… Server channels, different language channels, Dev/tester channels, private channel’s, etc. It’s just a thought that was spoke of and a chance to use my site for the first time (for micro-crowd-funding).

      Anyway, thanks for letting the boards use that Laughter! That’s awesome!! 😀

      Yeah, I am always up to increasing the server and making people admins on it. Right now not many people log on. So before just thinking you may need a 200 slot server should try to see if people will actually use a 25 slot server.

      I’d also like to say if you wanted a Oort Online ONLY TeamSpeak totally go for it. Mine is in hopes I build a community to bring people together for a few games not just Oort but wanted for it to be known that it’s there and please feel free to use it and bring people in.

        To have a Oort only teamspeak is at the moment a little bit useless because there isn’t that much content at the moment^^ I’m definetely checking the server out today with a friend. Maybe we meet^^

        Awesome! Yes, that was pretty much my thoughts. I don’t think there are quite enough people playing to dedicate a whole server right now.

        Possibly in open beta/closer to release? Most likely.

        Maybe as soon as crafting is implemented^^ I think the more features there are the more players there will be. And maybe they implement an internal VoIP.

      well we need to implement range voice servers ot the further you are the less you can hear. that way you can rp in taverns and things like that without the entire server hearing you

        Kind of makes me nervous using in-game provided voice servers but as long as GMs can moderate who can speak I guess. Was harassed badly in Rust and of course you can’t do anything about it.

        You could walk away maybe. Or have a settings option if you want the ingame VoIP

      Cool. I will come to the TS tomorrow to check if anynone is online. Atm I cannot tell when I will come online, cuz I don’t know when I find the time to test the game (WIll be my first day in Oort *-*)

      I will be there at wednesday, but I don’t know if at afternoon or evening. I also have a date as a mentor on Wildstar 😉 … Hope to meet you there 🙂
