What Happens If..

I understand that goalfunding encourages the community to grow and bring more people in, but what happens if all of the ‘goals’ aren’t met?

Is the game released without all of the content imagined for it? Does it stagnate in a slow development cycle cursed for a never ending alpha state like Starbound or CubeWorld?

Before I put any money forward I want to know if this game will be seen through to the end and not end up as another crowdfunded indie abandonware.

I’m not trying to be insulting here. I’ve gotten the short end of the stick several times for backing games early in the past, and I would genuinely like to know what the developers plan to do if they don’t raise enough money to totally satisfy all of the ‘goal’ markers.

My understanding is that these are just early access goal markers.

Regardless what happens, all these features will be available at launch. It’s just that they are allowing players to decide with their wallet what comes out first.
