    can’t it be automated? the forum titles when you bought a steam version? Nah this is fine too, but one topic where you can put your name/username/whatever-is-needed-to-change-forum-titles instead of 10000 differents posts/topics where people ask for it.:3

    Heee!
    first of all, welcome to the community!

    1. buying the 51 euro’s pack gives you the possibility to use World Builder to build your own worlds. Althought they will not be used in Oort Online, unless there will come a feature where you can build your own worlds and set up a server with those worlds (but that is something to look forward to in the future). Besides that you will receive the title ‘Adventurer’ instead of ‘Explorer’ on the forum. Also you gain acces to special wearable items wich you do not have with the normal pack (31 euro’s). your name in the credits and you will receive the original soundtrack of Oort Online with the release next year. See for a list the main page ‘Oortonline.com’ and klick at ‘Get Acces’. Explorer = 31 euro’s steam pack. Adventurer = 51 euro’s steam pack (DLC thingie).

    2. There are a lot of servers, it is all multiplayer but there aren’t that much players yet. I found a lot of activity atm in ‘Civini’ (central EU server, most activity is around the evening +1GMT). And yes, you can play with friends, it aren’t private servers.

    Greetings

    ======items
    – If you switch from server while using the grappling hook, the line of the hook will appear in a word length/direction in the world you join (grappling hook isnt ‘disconnected from the block/resetted in use’ when changing server). see screenshot 1

    ======blocks
    – placing a block on above water gives weird textures. see screenshot 2
    – Grass (not blocks but the grass upon the grass (oh shut up! you will understand:P) in water removes the water block. Does not get overflowed with water like it should do (same issue with the torches as before, wich is fixed now). see screenshots 3 + 4

    ========items/blocks
    – While breaking a block with anything but not a tool that will speed up the breaking speed, and switch while still breaking the block to a tool that will boost up the breaking speed it will (in most cases) instant break.
    I think this has to do with the time you are breaking a block is counted, when you switch to a faster tool to break the block this time isnt resetted.
    i.e. I break stone with an axe for 2 seconds, while holding the left mouse button i switch to a pickaxe, the block will break instantly. (Best simulation is: take a grappling hook, hold your mouse some time on a block, switch to something else in your hands, block will break instantly, in theory you should start over again.)

    ========Moving
    – While holding crouch (shift) and walk until the edge of a block (so you will be stopped from falling). Stop moving around, jump and you will fall off. It isn’t a bug but it will cause falling without meaning. If you crouch until the edge of a block, you expect that when you didnt moved after the crouch you can jump without falling of the edge.

    – after crouching until the edge of a block, you can crouch onto the same side of a block nearby while there is placed a block on it while there is a block placed upon the block you crouch. (you walk on the edge of a block, while there is a block placed upon the block where you walk. you cant walk further then 1/2 of the block it’s edge, and you cant walk (while holding shift) back to the edge of the block you came from. THIS IS ONLY WITH SLOPES! (used block/squary forms).
    Crouching on slopes until a corner while there is a block placed onto that corner, you will fall off the slope. (slopes in non-squar blocks, corner must be at blocks highest point). EDIT: also with normal blocks (not slope blocks).

    hihihi, I was wondering what everyones role is in the production of Oort Online (all the devs). The team is not that big to devolop such a big game, at least that feels like it, still it seems so fast progressing… And yet probaply a big part of the team is working together and depending on people of the dev. team.
    So to summary it: How does a week of work looks-a-like? are you all besides producing Oort Online still working on other games? what is the total weekly consumption of coffee? are devs multifunctional (does some devs besides i.e. programming also art/design for the game? And how do you set up your next goal, since there are bugs to solve, new products to be produced to implement in Oort Online, etcetera…

    And so much more questions hahaha!

    Sorry for the late answer, thought I was subscribed to this topic! I couldnt make a dump file for the editor.exe. Also i do not have any clue how i can copy the errors in the running ‘editor’ prompt file to an .txt file or something else easy readable/editable.

    It is always the same kind of error.

    The idea of ‘% of durability loose of tools’ seems to me an unrealistic idea. Durabillity has nothing to do with death, unless when you fall to death and especially fall on your pickaxe wich you dropped while falling but that seems a bit unlucky:P

    Losing some percentage of items, money and exp would be fine.

    Oh and please, put the wood logs in every world in the standard block list. Like you receive 50 dirt / 50 grass / 50 stone bricks / 50 stone / 50 gravel-like when you start. I would love to have 50 wooden blocks too! Since cutting trees down it takes a horrible long time to remove al the leaves since they dont disappear on their own when the wood has been cut. Having everywhere floating baloons of leaves is a bit annoying hihi

    I found two worlds in the map C:\steam\steamapps\common\Oort Online\mave\worlds.

    Both won’t produce a 3D map. What is exactly mentioned with ‘config file’? Wich file specific file do i have to send? Sorry, not very experienced with programming and stuff…

    I can show the errors wich come up in the ‘Editor.exe’ log while trying to produce a 3D area.
