Makes me think of the Minecraft mod, RotaryCraft, which I love.

Even so, for me Magitek > Puretek.

Perhaps complimentary routes to machinated mastery?
Crystals, mana and floaties to please the magic-lovers.
Steam, gears and metal to please the technophiles 🙂

Another thing to think about is modern builders.
What the heck do they want to power their builds? xD
