Only certain blocks can be sloped. Also make sure you have the block in the 2-6 position on your action bar.

Um… you want to trade f2p accounts for paid game? This is why the forum needs a “flag for moderator” function.

Sounds like a griefer’s wet dream if it takes multiple people to drive one loner off. Titan’s are supposedly going to be tuned to dozens of players, and you’re suggesting it be that hard to attack one’s “camp?”
Before you start suggesting people have no imagination, can you maybe give us some more complete thoughts about what you have in mind?

Perhaps it may take teamwork to attack a well equipped powerful player with high end weapons and armor, but only if those attacking him are under equipped weaker players.

As easily as you can move about all the different worlds, it’s as if it IS one big server. You can log in to any world and visit another world to build with friends, trade, hunt, or explore without having to log into another server or start over every time.

And yes! The game will feature a free market!!

We may have unlimited resources right now, but i would not call it “creative mode.” I think the current break timers are serving two purposes right now.

    1) I think they are the base break timers for survival mode. In later updates, you will likely be able to craft faster picks.

    2) The long break times help discourage griefers from destroying massive areas.

That’s pure speculation, but I doubt the devs will reduce break timers till they introduce faster tools. I do agree that carving out mountain sides is painfully slow. I’d suggest you find a cave system to work in :/

Right now weather is just kind of… there. It’s either raining/snowing, or it’s not. Eventually, there will be varied weather across different worlds, and they may even affect the world itself! Meteor showers leaving block damage? Possibly. Volcano eruptions? Quite likely! Lightning storms, blizzards, etc, oh please yes.

As for seasons, no word on that yet.

In a podcast with the devs, they mentioned that they are going to implement a predictive slope function that predicts what slope you will want based on the blocks around it, then allow you to grab corners and form blocks how you want if you want to do a block-by-block set up. Not sure about plans for toggling slope types though.

I think shadows will be added eventually (as a togglable option) to improve the current lighting.
I can confirm that most, if not all current textures are general place holders, leaves included. I expect some traditional style leaves as well as some alien-oorty looking leaves.

It’s not so unusual in voxel games, minecraft was set up the same back in its alpha/beta days and did not get fixed till the sky dome got reworked. Current sky and sun/moon are currently place holders. Im sure they’ll set it right prior to 1.0 release. I have even heard they may have some worlds with multiple suns or moons or even planets that orbit gas giants(i dont recal if that last part was a fan statement or dev statement)

I believe the whole “unique creatures per world” is a planned feature, but the properties of each creature will fall into one of four(?) Classes, so a skilled adventured can identify and adapt to any challenge. Perhaps they can have hybrid creatures that use traits of two random classes?

Nothing yet, and you cant. I think they are only a test drop item at the moment.
