    Macs don’t have .exe files.

    Does the Steam default key of F12 not work for the OSX version?

    While it is possible that a wipe may be necessary, the devs are going to do their best to not have to wipe.

    I’ve been playing since August and in that time, there have been two worlds which have been wiped, both of which were player submitted.

    The first was due to the seed being changed so a wipe was inevitable.

    The second was because the world in question was set up in a way that the engine wasn’t originally designed to allow so only a small part of it was rendered. The devs then added support for that method and relaunched that world for the Steam release.

    I believe that where possible, the intent is to add new worlds rather than reset old ones.

    Quite simply make the game look prettier 😀

    I may not have a super computer, but it is capable of running the game comfortably after increasing the distance several notches.

    It would also make for nicer screenshots of things taken from a distance. I can’t remember what it was now, but there was something I wanted to capture and couldn’t because at the distance I was from it, all of the detail had been reduced to an unrecognisable state.

    I wouldn’t be against it being an option in the GUI but really liked having the ability to set it myself.

    Yes. If you tweet @oortonline with the world name, your oort username and that you want to be added to the capital Beacon, they will add you the next time they do the update.
    Note: This might depend on how many people are already building up the capital on any given world.

    I can’t say I’ve noticed this. Might be worth posting your specs. I’d imagine that the important parts here will be the graphics card and driver version and OS.

    The best place to put stuff like this is in Support. If you want to, you can move it yourself if you click the edit button directly above your post and then change it to Support in the forum box below the text box and then save.
