My brother was working at Mcdonalds when he was 13. This is in Australia though, but looking through the internet, I can see in America the minimum age is 14.

I dont see where you got 16 from.

I understand that you are upset or offended, but you were EXACTLY being Self-entitled, even though you are ignorant of how the system works.

You are having a go at the devs going “You cant say vote pending if you arent doing it” or “why do I have to go to twitter to suggest things” and “wheres my vote, ive been backing for TWO WEEKS but havent been able to do anything”.

Maybe YOU should do some reading around the forums and website so that you dont need to be called out by other people on your wild claims.

I made a general statement that applied to everyone being so impatient., but you took particular offense to it because you know I’m right.

Then you can get a job at like McDonalds or something. Make your own money, then you can buy the things you want.

Games are for leisure, and if you cant afford them, then that is the least of your problems.

As much as I want more people to donate to this game, if you are so poor, then this is not the best choice to spend your money. The game has very very minimal gameplay at the moment.

Make some pocket money, save it up, come back and buy the game later when you can afford it and it will be in a more playable state.

Jeez, they only just hit this milestone, and everyone is going “WHERES MY VOTE?!?”

Come on guys, let them get their **** in order first. Stop being so self entitled.

The $15 option does not give you instant access to the game. You need to buy one of the higher price options.

Also, can’t you get a job? How old are you? If you are over 12, then you don’t really have an excuse.

Im not sure what you mean by “flat plain”.

Do you mean if you go far enough you will just come into big flat fields of endless nothing?

If that is the case, wrapped worlds by far the better choice.

I really hope the worlds wont be endless, or too big.

Big enough to expand but not big enough so you are completely secluded from everyone.

Its a social online game afterall.

    This.

It is very much necessary in an MMO game, and I believe the overwhelming majority of players will be asking why it isn’t in, if it doesn’t get implemented by release.

It was one of the biggest complaints for Destiny.

It is understandable that some players want complete immersion and a more RP feel, but like I said, make it be able to be turned off. That way everyone gets what they want. No one is denied anything.

Even if it is just in certain areas or trade hubs.

If you look on the upcoming features roadmap on the front page http://oortonline.com/), you can see there is a feature to craft your own portals ect.

This roadmap development is based off of player feedback, so once the current characters feature is done, you will have the chance to vote for portals if that is what you want.

The one that gets voted is the one they will work on next.

You actually do sound upset that it was even suggested.

All I’m saying is you don’t have to participate in it if you hate it so much, and the few people here in this thread doesn’t reflect the entire player base’s opinion.

We are just exchanging ideas here. You don’t have to act hostile because people have differing opinions to you.

    Please stay calm.

You need to calm down. It’s not an argument, it’s a suggestion. Just because you don’t like something in particular, doesn’t mean everyone else does. This is an MMO game after all. If you don;t want to ruin your immersion, fine. but there are plenty of people who would like to socialise on a larger scale in this game. You aren’t forced to participate, so don’t force others not to.

and your analogy is completely irrelevant. People aren’t going to be giving away free gold like that. You are being paranoid and silly.

If they do end up doing different Chat channels like WoW, then I’m sure there will be an option to /ignore or /leave the chat channel.

Then people who don’t like it can just turn it off, and not have to listen to a global chat.

    Problem solved.

At the moment, there is type chat, and it is a small radius around you.

The game is meant to be an MMO type game, so they might do a server based chat or something.

There may be voice chat later on, it depends how many people actually want it.

The idea sort of came from Starbound. All snow/desert doesnt have to be damaging, but could have it in the form of the occasional blizzard or sandstorm that occurs randomly, forcing players to take temporary shelter.
