I also really like where the game is going, but most of the people I played minecraft with don’t want to get a game that doesn’t have much content in it yet. I am definitely getting them to join once it is more developed 😛

I think it would be an interesting idea if a (guild/town/whatever) can create a portal like device that allows them to link up to the same local area chat as other towns with that same type of device. That way if you are just a random person making a base in the middle of nowhere you can be all alone, but if you join a larger community you can communicate with other friendly communities even if you aren’t right next to each other.

For me, I encounter the issue of nothing loading if I attempt to change worlds or teleport to the capitol before the land around me has finished generating.

You need to also provide the world and coordinates, otherwise the devs can’t put one for you.

I don’t really have that much experience with walking since I pretty much only use the grappling hook to move 😛

Yeah it is slightly faster, but it is still around 4 seconds to break a single block. I really hope that the mining speed can get faster once tools are introduced.

I guess they will also need to do it because they will be adding the dungeons structures, which I assume will be one of the last things to give everyone a more equal chance at clearing them.
