Most of the current worlds are 8km x 8km.

The worlds can be any size as they’re procedurally generated. (There will be a point where the game would start hitting floating point issues – but I’m not sure exactly when that would be.)

When you go outside of the generated region, the game will generate a flat plain. The game can generate more of the world, instead of the flat plain, but this is currently disabled to keep the worlds stable for players.

We have also considered and explored a little making the worlds wrap around. This would give them a much better feeling of being planetoids.

Would you prefer flat worlds? Or wrapped worlds – looping around?

    Let us know.

Just processed quite a few outstanding emails. If you didn’t get a response – shout.

(@Ardos still need to investigate your PvP email – that takes a bit more effort compared to requests for beacons!!)

Can you confirm which drivers you currently have installed?

Can you confirm the version of the AMD drivers you have installed?

Can you also make sure you’ve tried the latest drivers directly from AMD, they’re 14.x. (The latest drivers from Windows Update are much older.)

Please also email the mdmp file to oortonline@turbulenz.com along with the other details.

Hey! The game is attempting to be helpful by automatically signing you into Oort Online via your Steam credentials which are linked to your Oort Online account. (We do this to stop people stealing the game.)

As this situation is a little complicated I think it is probably easier to respond via your email thread about the forum title. So we’ll get this resolved via email!

If anyone else has this sort of issue – please email us and we’ll get it resolved.

If you bought the game before the Steam launch then we will have emailed you any Steam keys. Please check your SPAM folder. If you can’t find it – please email us with some purchase details (email address / username / transaction ID / etc) and we’ll track down your key.

We currently have servers in: Australia, East coast US, West coast US, West Europe, Central Europe.

We’d like to add some servers for East Europe + Russia and China + South Korea + Japan. We’ll put servers where ever there is sufficient demand. But you can connect to any server in the world. Assuming your connection is decent then it should be ok.

Better to think of the game as a single MMO where some worlds are closer to you than others.

Hey thanks for the comments about the game.

    How would we configure this:

    1. Donate money and get nothing in return (other than credit and thanks for donating.)
    2. Donate money and get a reward in (or out) of the game?

Which would make sense? If there was a reward – what would that be?

We had originally though that players who wanted to donate more could upgrade their tiers, but we now realise that potentially the steps are too big.

How do you think this should work?

Any idea what the issue was?

What do you mean by “completely reset” your computer?
