    has that skylanders cartoon feel that would probably go great with kids, has a good system of arranging and that is also good.

    oh god so plantside 2? lul, idk about airship combat right now as oort online for while will be mostly nature based constructs, maybe some boats, flying boat ships like guns of Icarus would be more of “oort’s” style, but even if you suggested it as a late game feature, i don’t think people would vote that up as much over the more core stuff right now, that being said i think you’d just have to get enough people behind it who would be commit to the war , having to build your ships from scratch would tedious, being able to preset warships/blimps/etc would help that, as others said its a very late game feature but i think it could work.

    its possible that you can create space worlds as i’ve asked, huge 100k worlds low gravity with asteroids and small floating stations so actual space battling wouldn’t be far off.

    was great is that ben, one of the developers, already talked about most of those things possibily making it into the game, post launch and further, after all the already pre made goals are met, we get to choose and vote on what is be funded, so your ideas such as landrovers and giant forum screens could be one of them if you get alot the communiy behind it

    i like how you used the carbon cookie cutter of mmo’s to define what is better and more realistic, not gonna harp on you but in an alien world, filled with giant monaters, animal races, who would want to play a game with these ideas? you legit suggested trove tbh.

    ohh umm hello hello!

    name’s vexus, i’m 21 and i live in the great north, U.S i am more (scarcely) known as kazekuma, an ambient drone music artist, i wil also be making music under vexus AND music for this game for all of us to listen if you like 😀

    my main hobbies are making music, drawing, painting and creating short fantasy stories

    on first glance of this i knew it could be great, so great that i bought the game before i even have a capable computer to run it XD but, look around anywhere within the oort community, twiiter, and you will see my artwork and suggestions here and there, future concept designs and my own dreams for this game, i want to build my own quest, worlds and bring something truely unique if the game allows me to.

    so soon rather then later, i hope to play with you all later on, don’t grief and have fun everyone 😀

    thats would be great!, i would mostly likely call that “free roam” mode and actually could serve as a “alpha version” of D.E.C before its turned into its own mode,considering it will be a while before i can create a system that generates small multi terrain worlds that disappear every match,

    maybe how it would work is that you obtain a B.E.C token or mode from somehwere,somehow. when you place the “game beacon” and set how wide you want it, players would then choose a color team, name, and username with_”xxx”team ( only players who have accepted the B.E.C invite from the host can do this), then people can equip gear or whatever they want, scope out their area then press or type _ready and bam, everyone drops in their respected temporary zones, crystals spawn and the game begins

    i assume the worlds that rarely get used will be wiped away first, followed worlds with less buildings or projects going on, one of the main builder worlds will be used as the founders world, we could ask for a vote maybe?

    gotta factor in how the game will run with various creatures running around, some worlds might not work with them at first, might lag a bit when around certain creatures, would look quite bad for people who want to buy the game.

    i voted for creatures as well, would have been cool to see little critters or giant beast roaming the game, although it doesnt matter too much to me as long as we voted for one of the key elements that will decide for alot of people if they wanna buy the game and play it.

    they are:
    races.
    creatures
    weapons/crafting.

    once people see that the character models aren’t blocky ( i hope) and more of a WoW/mmo type style, people will considering buying the game as it gives oort more of promises of a familiar yet new experience in the game, and even though i wanted creatures, i dont think they would of made a big impact as character races, and that’s mainly why im okay with the communities choice as long as its one of those choices, as it gives oort online its own independence in the voxel spectrum.

    i disagree with the weekly worlds idea, its the same type of mobile game crap that almost forces players to constantly log in, players would abusive other players who dont have to time to play daily by selling items at unfair prices.

    the skill to produce orbital lights that shine, giving better area cover depending on what skill level you have.

    a better alternative to the coal/mining would be insects that you breed/collect that you place in lamps/clear blocks that require you to feed to keep them glowing,and or dieing, higher levels of producing plant skills can yield better food to keep the bugs glowing for longer periods of time, simply creating a farm and avaialbe plants around the worlds would ensure that even if you didint have food available, grass, a couple common berries mixed would feed the bugs.

    +/- effects for companions

    enable companions to find loot/items

    beast riding companions: faster travel over land,sea,air

    companions that can produce shields.

    tanky, small titan companions that are slow but do alot of damage

    small, orbital companions( binding of issac esk) that can attack/shoot with different elements and effects.

    ghost type companions that can pass threw walls

    companions that sacrifce themselves to heal you greatly.

    companions that transform into your avatar to distract players/creatures

    companions that glow, giving you a better radius of light versus the torch

    companions that craft items when low on health/mana.

    it would be interesting to see a jelly/liquid based humanoid form race, similar to the chaos emerald monster in sonic adventure

    its featured skill would be ” absorption” enabling a + healing effect while in water, water based attack have little to no effect, also all physical attacks have little to no damage unless augmented or the creature/titan/oorts damage is higher than your defense.. other skills would include: water glide,water shield,water blast, typhoon rage,etc

    that being said, the races main weakness is magical based attacks, lightning and earth attacks deal more damage and all augmented weapons deal +damage upon each hit. fire and wind attacks are dependent on if your attack damage is higher then the persons defense and resistance. ice based damage deals a temporary freezing effect, also based on weapons levels.

    enviornmental damage also factors in, walking on ice would give a slow walking effect, can die quicker in lava, walking on plants would enable them to grow quicker with the cost of life.

    only by equiping a certain type of armor would enable this race to negate the eviormental effects, and depending on augments you have on the armor, would reduce the damage from their weakness.

    5 key advantages
    1. eating poison plants give you . well a poison effect when hurt by monsters/titans
    2. rain and deep water enables a brief invisibility effect, rain gives small healing
    3.higher levels give you the ability to command some water and anphibious creatures
    4.able to give healing water to other players at the cost of life
    5.absorb other players life at a certain level?
