Can you also confirm the exact version of the graphics drivers you have installed?
(I’m asking this because the crash is coming from within your ati graphics driver.)

JamesKeymasterYou may notice that these issues appear every 16 blocks. This suggests there is a big in the lighting calculation on the boarder of chunks. We’ll get it fixed.

JamesKeymasterWe’re still working out the exact rules for beacon placement. We’ll probably “try” something in the game with all the players then get some feedback and tweak it.
But we understand the general issue that sometimes you want to protect your home / base (so want a “big” beacon) but then other times you just want to protect a road (so want a “small” beacon).
