    Good tips but 100% sure it was the correct server since all my structures were there. And the “Beacon Effect” box was the first thing I checked, and it was activated.

    On that day I logged on, noticed something was odd, then realized the beacon was missing entirely. No beacon name, no green box when mousing over blocks in the beacon area, no beacon effect, nothing at all. At that point I checked my settings and confirmed that Beacon Effect was enabled. But nothing else was wrong, the client was running normally and all other functionality/gameplay was working as intended. I then logged off for few minutes. When I logged back on, everything was good again so it remains a mystery. First and only time I had it happen as well.

    Dude, beacons are in the game. Contact the devs per the instructions and soon you too shall have our own. =)

    Because the talk range is absolutely tiny. Hit “.” to see online players… Also, pre-alpha + many huge worlds = pretty sparse.

    Add it, and have the ability to turn chats off. Easy. While I also often find global chats annoying, not adding it because of that is foolish IMHO. Simple fix.

    Everyone playing right now knows griefing can occur. Having said that, and as was shown, there are a ton of really great folks that will help out with whatever is needed. But why quit? I mean heck, they say they won’t, but there are a ton of issues/changes that could cause world wipes to be required. Oh well, I will just start over. The fun is in the playing so go have fun. =)

    Of course I forgot to say anything about weather. Lol. More variability would be great. I am on Kohe and all it does is rain. =) Lightning storms would be pretty cool as well.
