I was never a fan of this reload minigames because it takes you right out of the action. But if they implement it well and the immersion stays then why not^^

Yes that sounds more like a plan I’d sign in for^^ Randomize things or make a complex crafting system which you have not to use if you don’t want to. Either one is fine with me.

I’m code a little bit myself and see you point. But this works only if the pieces you put together have enough combinations to make almost infinite possible outcomes. If they make the game that complex ok but then a lot of people will not play it. So you have to kind of simulate the possibilities with the randomness.

And well I think I mentioned it enough^^ I’m completely against any skillsystem which locks any skill if you progress to far in another or want to master it. It’s a sandbox game after all so you should have the possibility to master everything, every little piece of the game.

Yea I love Minecraft for the same reason. Redstone contraptions are great but if something similiar is implemented in Oort then it should have the same style and should fit in with the lore. Magic is just something which presents itself for that reason. Maybe with crystals you have to mine and exchange after several days. Like a Battery.

honestly until crafting is implemented I don’t mind any floating things xD
But if the leaves come down with the tree and then despawn if you take away the wood or something like that would be enough I think

Ah yes there come two solutions to my mind either only some worlds have PvP or PvP goes in some kind of steps around a beacon down. Like completely safe you can’t die (in towns for example) – PvE – PvP like a kilometer further in the wilderness.

yes and if a guild or town couldn’t stand the siege attempts anymore you would see ruins on your adventure in the pvp world. I like that.

I’m wondering something. Are they first going to finish the combat or are they going to program them simultaneously? Or do they start crafting only after it is funded and have therefore enough time to finish combat?

How about a symbiosis of magic and technic? That would be cool^^ (and why voodoo? xD)
